Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) through one issue on Monday, 12 February 2024, according to official data.
The fixed coupon was valued at EGP 2 billion, carrying a tenor of three years until 13 February 2027.
Moreover, the CBE auctioned floating-rate T-bonds at a value of EGP 1 billion through one tranche, which will mature in five years on 16 January 2029.
On 5 February, the central bank offered T-bonds as well as zero-coupon T-bonds at a total value of EGP 2.50 billion through two auctions.
